Orrin, I don’t relate at all: but I enjoyed reading every word of this article. Your raw authenticity cuts to the chase in your own unique way and it’s actually inviting to me—

Two things:
1. Those last two paragraphs deserve some prize —some honorable mention—they are glorious and wonderfully written—I can’t get over how perfect it was. Saved in my favorites!

2. Your viewpoint along with the time you’ve already invested made me think:
Damnit, how many who are currently serving in public office are just as tired and apathetic and are taking up space when there are so many of us injected with enthusiasm, energy and passion for change?! It made me more frustrated that people take up space in positions of public service who clearly are tired and just don’t care enough to do anything difficult for change.

By the way—I’m sure in the right time and place you would have and would care, I’m not saying you don’t care—
But as you said—you’re in a different place in life and well, yes, you’ve earned it.

The average age of senators is 64!!!! And the acreage she keeps growing!! How is the public not alarmed?!!

Okay I’m getting carried away. Ignore me.

Thanks for this amazing read.
Phenomenal writing!!!!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
