I think you’re deeply in tune with what you always knew would make you happy and cut to the chase sooner—instead of hoping selflessness would “fix” the scenario at hand (both marriages).
I’ve witnessed far too many women selflessly give in only to watch them in agony and regret and no true choices late in life. It’s deeply troubling.

There’s a balance to selflessness in relationships…I’m still learning my own.
