It absolutely helped having that data and just close observation of what I did first 8-10 months…it wasn’t clear to me at all during my first months.

I learned so much gets thrown at you, soon I needed to filter the advice and find what works for me. Because readers are going to respond uniquely to your pieces and it will influence you.

Perhaps with time some writers learn to balance to write what they want and what they think does well—finding a unique blend between the two.
