I thought, the teacher must have been busy and now she would do the introduction part. But she kept talking to the rest of the kids about stuff in Dutch, completely ignoring that there was a new kid in the room who didn’t speak the language, didn’t know anyone, and didn’t look like any of them, while the other kids giggled amongst each other.
