OMG Susan - you made me realize, I truly do NOT rely on my "following feed" ever...I'm so accustomed to using my list to make sure I hit everyone, that I visit the tab from time to time. I will tell you - even with all that I purposely read, the algorithm should "read my activity" and give me those exact ones in my followers list.

NOPE - it keeps sending me the publications we follow -- here's the problem.

I "promise" which I wonder who is checking -- that I would follow those publications in order to write for them...but now following the publications takes a greater priority to the writers themselves. That's why I think you're seeing it as "broken"...

Here's what I'm tempted to do:

unfollow all publications...give it 48 hours -- and then check that follow feed, and does it start to show just our main authors that we normally read?

BTW - that advice about following fewer people - hogwash. Why should we dictate to others how many we want to follow? and follow "good content" - what does that even mean?
