Okay PLEASE do post and share with us!!
BY the way....I kept thinking about you, as I saw about brunch today.
You know what you have to consider carefully and give yourself kuddos -- but part of this is a question for you:
Writing in English where your German language is your mother tongue -- do you feel like sometimes what you say is not how you want to say it but if you could, you would say it in German?
You write English so well, I actually am so surprised it's not your first language!
All of this to say: writing has a knack to it in that you need to feel uninhibited and allow the words to flow -- you are doing extra work if the language is not as comfortable and that will affect your stories -- just my opinion.
I will share with you: I couldn't be as successful doing this in Spanish because I don't think in Spanish. So I wonder if you just need to give yourself that space and time - to develop the voice, as English second language.
I only thought of this as I thought about the poetry you've written in German that you just can't translate and get the same feel. That has to be of importance in writing and in the way you express yourself.
Know this: I love your writing, I sense I "hear you" and know you. But give it thought - and maybe this has nothing to do with it -- but thought I'd share in case it did.
Biggest hug!!! Feliz fin de semana!!!
