From the friend/human standpoint: I hate it that the insecurities drove you to such places which I respect the embracing of them and can empathize with the regret of them, as well as everything in between...but to understand and see you as a woman who feels so deeply and loves so much, it's hard to envision how others could have made you from the time you were a child to feel inadequate

From the reader's point of view: you allowed us, who have never danced anywhere near such places to not only be completely enveloped in the story but to feel, see, taste the experience...for you to make this so real is truly nothing short of amazing Dana. So impressive.
