Okay - I'm back!

I read your comment after midnight heading to bed late, so wanted to properly comment on a few fun points you shared!

Love that your husband is Jamaican/Panamania (you have the full Latin and Caribbean mix and so therefore - I know understand why you "get" a few things in the past I've shared!) It was fun to read that - thanks for sharing.

I also wanted to share: I laughed bc our spouses sound quite alike. I don't know if you ever watched a show: American Idol in the past (we were early watchers and haven't seen for years) -- but my husband likes to tell me, "Nat, you know I'm like Simon Cowell - I'm going to tell you like it is and waste no time being brutally honest ...but I wanted to say, just like YOU --I do LOVE that about them. There's never a question or doubt of how they feel - it's incredibly clear and I don't take for granted what a blessing it is to have a partner who is clear in their communications.

Not always easy as you shared -- I had to teach him: the way, when and where do matter, yes be frank - but timing and manner!!
