I think some of the best pieces I’ve ever done was knowing to stop editing and just go—write and let it all out.

But oh man—coming back to it was hard—it was so damn messy! lol—

But then working with it is exactly where I’ve learned how to write. It’s hard work.

So sometimes I think it’s the rush—I want it to come out and have it be neat so I don’t have to do the heavy lifting. 🤣my human nature: let’s look for the short cuts!!
