Oh Tesie, this is such a fantastic read.

I’m reading and reading and thinking of what I’m about to do for the next two days—and if I’m being perfectly honest it’s mostly hero syndrome. Ugh. And then I asked myself as you suggested, could it be for connection?

But I have the connection and while I deep down knew that I wasn’t fully 100% wanting to favor I’m going to do, I know they really need the help and deserve the help.

I think I’m going through a phase in my life of trying to find a better balance between between genuine which sometimes means saying no more often, but not losing the importance of sacrifice and the beauty it can bring in helping others. And those times do sometimes mean being placed in not so comfortable positions.
