Not only that, but Alex passed away in service a year ago before I even heard. Unfortunately, he was caught in an argument and crossfire between two soldiers he commanded. Also, surprisingly, he had become a two-star lieutenant in just two years of graduating and had started commanding a company of soldiers. He was only 26 years old.
