Oh Mike, I know we don't know each other much - so will say this, so take it for whatever cents it's worth --

You have a unique voice, style that comes from genuis wit and a comfort in being just you. From the first article I read to this and every single one, it shouts: authenticity.

100% we all are going to write crap that for some is simply boring, idiotic or distasteful --- and the minute someone gets in your head and makes you feel you need to tweak "style and voice"...from me, a young writer - I say: bullshit. Don't mess with our Mike! It's WHY we keep coming back.

I get it - some don't like the cursing. I have a very very close and loyal reader that I know can't stand cursing and everytime I really want to let it rip - it's that reader in mind that makes me hold back. I'm new - so at some point, I'll learn how to dance in the writing world and completely let loose as you do.

Lastly -- I'm going to join Ginger -- and say: call her. Get it off your chest and out of the "what if zone" -- what's the worst that could happen? What you're doig now -- wonderfing what if? But what if things have changed, would if there would be healing for both just at least hearing what were some underlying ideas, feelings experiences that never got resolved.

I have one person I would like to say something to at some point in my life -- but I don't know/think what good it would do, so I don't.

From what I can tell -- you're in the perfect position to do so -- and you both don't seem attached to anyone? so why not?

Great great write up - rant or not, the grudge part inspired me to write something.
