Oh Michele - what a sweet story and all the pictures...they are absolutely adorable! You took me back to some moments in my childhood when our poodle would get out - and she early on was a runner and loved to do circles and super fast! LOL - and then she would be all dirty!...we too finally figured out if we pretended she would be going in the car, we could catch her...oh loved reading this! I felt so sorry for you - bc I can hear the mom yell, "close that door!!!" and then bam - out the dogs go! good times! 😂

(I have three made-up names I call my kids since they are babies..one of them was bubba too...it's the least one I use, but it made me smile hearing you call your girls that!) LOVE it!!!
