Oh man -- trying to pull myself together to write this comment to you when I should grab a box of tissues to wipe the river of tears...it normally takes a two hour movie to move me this way, and your three minute story just has me bawling.
Mick my deepest condolences -- I hope our reads and tears and heartfelt wishes that you become "unstuck" when you're ready will reach you and send all that love to your mom...that was one of the most beautiful letters I've ever read to a mom.
Earlier another writer, Annie wrote of her relationship with her son that also has me crying -- and between that poem and you letter -- I think I'm just missing my boys so much who are in another country too. But it's a reflection of admiration and pride and love to see a grown son, now a man -- so appreciative of his mom.
Can I just tell you -- that's a dream for every mom -- and you got it! That's the best she could ever receive and I assure you -- she must and had to be so proud of you.
Thank you for sharing this gift.
...okay I need that box now!....😭
