Oh Accidental MOnster - this is one of my favorite pieces here on Medium - one of those that takes me deep into the depth of someone's experience, one as you well said: we can never quite know what it feels like to be on the "outside" -- and for a glimpse, I can see/feel. Powerful essay - one I wish ever 4th grade could comprehend - heck I wish a 9th grader these days could truly take the time to understand the powerful message you share here.
