Noreen, I feel your pain. It’s hard when we first start in medium: I think most of us feel the crickets and lack of reciprocation sting.

Keep writing and fine tune who you are subscribed to: wait to find a genuine tribe member before you subscribe.

I kept a list that I started in month 2, and I still use it to help me remember who I typically read and want to…over time some make it on my subscriber list.

I recently ranted bc I’m overwhelmed by the emails so I’m now being careful it’s from those who won’t email me more than 3 times a week.

At the end of the day, you’ve nailed it: genuine interaction is what we seek. Keep doing what you’re doing and let go of the ones who are ignoring you.
