I didn’t mean—you don’t see that the final stage that way; you very much do.

I just meant: it saddened me that anyone would feel that when we are older, we would be a burden to anyone.

My own father feels that way; I’ve met with countless retirees who experienced that and felt that way.

I just meant it is a reality many do live—and it breaks my heart.
