My .02:
Yes I agree, I think we can safely generalize men are much better at just being who they are and not sweating what the other guy thinks about how quiet or friendly they are. They easily cut off conversations and have no internal analysis as to what it implies. It’s all face value—and honestly from what I can tell: it’s cool.
Women can be much more chatty, but I’ve learned in past 10-15 years—some women like you avoid the chatty ones. So I’m careful just how much and how long I chat…in fact I enjoy music and often want to be left alone.
I think, Shirley though—you shouldn’t inconvenience yourself. Take the easiest path home, stay focused and lost in your own world and more than likely you’ll not notice her.
Here’s something I can share: those of us who easily can pick up a conversation should/can pick up body cues. If someone has their eyes closed, tired and wanting to nap, or reading or arms closed, serious face—we avoid. Someone who is in a hurry or has disposition of being on a mission—typically left alone.
My husband is the one who even made me realize I don’t know how to cut off a conversation when I’m in a hurry. But I’ve learned how—and people understand.
If they don’t—aw well. Too bad.
Fun chat!! ;-)…and then I’d say:
Okay Shirley let me not take too much of your time, have an awesome day!!🙌🏽♥️🌸😊
