Most are due to the kind reciprocal nature of writers here and algorithm rewards your participation…but medium seems to be putting a limit to how much we contribute to the pay if we are reading that much…how much. No clue.

But here’s what I would advise you…
Drop that 100 to 30–and then really connect—

What’s much more important than views are reads: and you want that read ratio to be as high as possible.

Writers want to connect with you—so watch the depth of your comments and then the quality of reads you receive should be better.
