Loved this post Michele -- you took us along with your pictures and it sounded so adventurous and relaxing at the same time.

I want to do something like this one day - actually several times. I am a planner in many ways, but I would love the idea of going somewhere and just doing what I want, how I want, and wherever - without having to make sure others are happy or want to. As I write it to you - it sounds so dreamy!

Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing; I think it was so fitting that as you left your daughter at college, it was coupled with your own independent trip into the city navigating on your own! Loved how both these events are side by side! Good for you mama!!!
