Love your honesty - and the good thing that I see from reading about your experience is that you're happy this way. As you well said, those who know you - expect that from you...that's what's key.

Listening to your preference and perspective does let me know that it doesn't feel natural to you to reach out - and for someone like me who wants to be reached out to...I too would not like it if I knew they felt obligated. Ugh - that would feel horrible...

So you're right - it's important we stay true to who we are. Perhaps the ones you feel are dear feel just the way you do...

Yeah - those ladies were being lazy and letting curiosity get the better of them. If their heart really cared - then they would call. If it was a one-off random question and never again - then yes, I see it as a random curiosity - which we all have right. But it was now like the 3rd or 4th time - so dangggg...my patience ran thin! 😜
