Love the process --- yessssss

There are times when I'm in such a rush, I don't feel like being in the kitchen -- and I forewarn my family, "look it's not the best, sorry my heart wasn't in it!"

When it comes out so good, my husband says, "Man nat, you cooked this with a lot of love!" LOL - you’re right, how we focus does affect one’s cooking.

Loved your ideas for the tomato sauce; don't shoot me, but for years I doctor up a Ragu and throw it on my meat LOL -- but I will say, I know zilch about Italian cooking!

Some years ago, I wanted to do a tomato sauce from scratch, and I put in the diced onion, carrots, and celery and seasoning and I really enjoyed it. The kids who were accustomed to the non-fancy sauce (Ragu) -- were like "what's this Mom — why all these vegetables?!" LOL -- so after a few tries, I gave them what they wanted. I know -- I should have stuck with it...

But now that I"m a partial empty nester -- I should give this a go! Thanks for sharing!

Hope the hubby now loves your sauce! 😉
