Turns out Ellen reminded me, AI is not allowed on Medium-so if they disclosed, it would be taken down. So I suppose it all makes sense why it needs to be hidden for those who use. I suppose editors can be gate keepers—but those that are self published? We as readers I suppose hopefully elevate the ones that aren’t and learn to bury the fake ones…I just wish I didn’t have to think about it.
