1. You will not lose your readers at all --they will very quickly adapt, know who you are - and you've placed a picture to the name, so it makes it very easy to notice.

2. This is a good transition moment -- most of your loyal readers will have read somewhere you refereced or someone did "Michele" -- that's how I learned

3. I think it's wonderful that YOU will feel more open to share more topics and not feel pegged

Go for it -- don't worry about the followers and readers -- I truly would be shocked if that was affected
