LOL - I am missing something too - as you lost me at: doesn't matter...
Best phrase ever: do not impose!
I don't understand why that is so complicated, and truly I think what happens is that even when they "assume" and ask me: "so which church do you go to" -- that's an indirect imposition...well, it's probably an assumption...but it carries with it-- it's pressures. Or I love the: "you need to come to my church" -- indirect imposition, just a simple, "if you're ever looking for one to attend, you're welcome to come with me." Period - welcome done and no imposition.
Religious people assume they are nice and that people will take their ways - "nicely" - and the lines are blurred as what this lady did...and others have done to me...
You cracked me up with your RBF...my husband is so private and serious - no one would approach him either; things like this never happen to him and I probably need to start creating one just for situations like this! LOL
Thanks Yana for being open to read this...and for sharing your perspective. It all helps and it also helps me to put things into perspective in case I'm taking it too "personal"....
So much kindness to you!!!!!!
