LOL aww Shashi this was awesome!!

The 10th is when Nat thought “Shake” was a nickname and kept referring to you that way until you brought it to her attention 😂😂😂

I adore how your wife calls on—on the good days “Jaanu”😂🥳—tell her I think that’s sooo cute!!

It was so much fun reading this, thanks for sharing!

By the way I do call my husband by his last name when I’m highly irritated with him—so I’m not saying others are with you, but watch the whole “Sastry” thing, 😂😂😂just saying 😜

Shashi—thanks for the fun reply!!
I have a question for you that may be a prompt or a comment reply—depending on your time and preference:

I read earlier an article that suggested words to stop using, and one was “guru”…
It surprised me. It talked about culture appropriation.

Not even one hour later I was reading another article and guess what word was in a subtitule: guru…
And it was a fun loving very lighthearted article…

So, I’m curious if you believe that those who are practicing Hindus do find it insulting that we use that word as we do?

I don’t really use it—but I see it often and never thought much of it.

I’m all for sensitivity but I don’t see ill-intent.

So wondered if this could be something you ask your peers and family and how does it compare to your own opinion?

And also—I know you’re busy with work and family….so disregard if other priorities are pressing. No pressure or rush—was genuinely just curious.

Have a lovely week!!
Thanks for reading and sharing!!🙌🏽
