LOL - and I think the anti-bucket list are 10. But five was enough of these, and plus my "spiel" was just making it too long. I definitely didn't do "KISS" -- 😜

So I went back and realized I was "quoting" her message (she essentially said, she'll buy it all) - and then we would split the cost four ways. When I left, I sent her a note thanking her for the invite and to message me how much I owed them.

It was hamburgers and a bag of chips - and since Mexicans eat late -- this was at 10 pm, i never intended to eat. I was starving by 6:30 and ate at that time. I went to the party at 8, as per invitation. Two others couples arrive between 9-9:30, and they ate at 10 pm. Yeah - um no...

I took my drink too... ;-)

She responded the next morning: oh she and her husband decided they would just foot the bill.

SOOO - Ummm - yeah, glad she tried to rectify what was just uncalled for....but it was all awkward, to say the least, and just a reminder to myself: "yeah - let's come up with a no" - next time I'm included in that!
