Leonard so glad you stayed.

I’m not changing how I use the platform in the least bit—what changes I do are more a result of life changes.
I think you nailed it: if we are genuine and using platform meaningfully—I don’t see where we can go wrong.

They —and their systems—will make errors. Now we know. I feel for those as yourself who were the ones to carry the brunt of it.

On the boost thing—
Many months ago I felt as you. However, I’ve listened and read a post by the one in charge of admitting boosting editors.

I can 100% say (which was during the time you had left)—they have definitely increased and continue to admit editors—

She stated: in order to pay them they are using a third party system for the payments and that system is holding up the speed at which they can admit in new boosting editors—but they intend to get more eyes.

Most editors at that time who were screaming bloody murder that there weren’t enough—are now the editors who can nominate.

It’s one of those things—we just need to give it time—

To give credit to editors who nominate—they all send out once a month messages out from their publications advising what works and what doesn’t so that new writers can learn what they are in search for. I say that because it’s not hidden.

New writers cannot arrive into medium, write well, sit back and hope it works.

Medium requires active participation and engagement and there’s a curve to that. Sadly yes—some leave before learning and it’s a shame.

I applaud you’re looking out for them and I trust and hope you’ll be an editor who will apply to boost in your own publication. I have no doubt good things are to come!

You are a master at what you do and you do it with a wise and understanding heart!

💛have an awesome finish to your week!!
