Reporting mistakes to medical board seems like a must to me.

I’m probably jaded from having watched so many episodes of The Resident which seemed to drive the point: doctors protect doctors and many times you have to cause waves to protect the greater good and innocent. I recently read a journal article and study that showed how easy doctors who make deathly mistakes can move to new states and have zero ramifications.
