Joe, I had an interruption earlier today when I first dove into this piece.

But this is not one I could respond to on the fly….

As I have stated in another piece of mine: I concur. Organized religion is riddled with manipulation and contradicting claims, and hypocrisy —yet I was a part of it for so many years, so I know how it works.

(I continued to write at length and have deleted as this is just not the place for my vent)…but you have well described the frustration many of us have.
