Joaquim, I’m going to be very sincere with you and interact with where I find your points dangerously misleading instead of just unfollowing or ignoring your writings when it is placed in my feed. I’m going to choose to interact and hope you welcome dialogue. I ask that you be careful with points you’re making about health and medicine. I’ve recently read an absolutely incredibly enlightening and informative book called “The Body” by Bill Bryson, who does an exceptional job at summarizing many increíble advancements in medicine as well as the history of what we thought about the body and where we still have such an incredible way to go.
Your third point is just fallible, and in my opinion, dangerous. Thousands, if not millions, have died without medical care and will continue to—even with the help of medicine because not every disease as this time is curable. But to suggest to not even rely or use medicine, I can’t fathom how after what we’ve learned from this recent pandemic how anyone can promote this thought in 2022.
Look I fully agree that medical care in some parts of the world are exceptionally and criminally expensive. I fully understand the frustration at the pharmaceutical industry and its powerful lobby.
We owe our due diligence and consideration to our followers when we choose to publish articles such as what you did. I did take the time to read the whole thing. I’m not even going to argue how I disagree on a few other bullets.
We each take time to read what you then write; if I don’t at least take away something of value from your experience, I want to learn something that is based on critical thought and sound research.
I share this with you because I truly feel it’s key in order to grow as a writer in this medium. (Just my .02)
Best wishes!
