It’s a fascinating topic Amarie; I agree with the points you’ve shared and I’m surprised these stats go back to 1940. That shocked me!
I suppose this speaks to men needing those roles women fulfill and don’t see the need to leave her if at least the Josie is clean and food is prepared. They’ll get the “other” behind walls of home and so whats the need to change status quo?
But for her the stakes are high….she’s often the one missing out!
