It makes me sad when I think of this world without you and Rebecca. You’re beautiful human beings, but I understand what you mean—and I like the idea of archaic being replaced with new, more inclusive, more open ideas which I do hope are continuously taught to our children and grandchildren.
You wrote this so well, the picture of that gigantic tree uprooted is quite impressive.
It reminded me as I read this….those who will leave often had far stretching roots)—but once they leave, just like that it’s cut off from society and their damage can no longer continue. (I’m focusing on leaders who oppress and corrupt)
I spoke with a dear friend yesterday, she’s 92, she’s like a mom. She’s ready; everytime I talk to her, she references that she won’t be here long. I’ll miss her so so dearly. But her ways, her thinking in many ways …older unacceptable ways….you made me think of her.
