Isn’t it sad…
Loss and grief are bad enough —and to then have religion grant people this guilt and pain, it’s just not right.

I feel so bad for her —seeing that kind of distress had to be traumatizing.

That’s why I’m for medically assisted—if after all options exhausted to help someone retain quality life, if in their right mind so choose—it’s their right.

I listened the other day to a mother describe her son’s suicide; it shook me. What was so intriguing was the sheer determination to do what he set to do…they did everything to keep him from it and it was about 15 mins of leaving him alone that he jumped off. Therapy, love, conversations —hospitalizations….she still questions that 15 mins of leaving him alone. It’s a different circumstance but it told me a lot about —personal choice and it’s not easy when that choice is nothing like what we would choose or when we love that individual and want them.

Okay—let me not get carried away!

Much love Liz…
