I'm with you Misbah -- I would find anything else to do that day, I'll figure it out - but I too couldn't take that. I tell you, though, it grounds you in learning how difficult poverty is and what it does to the mind -- it was so easy for me to say I would easily walk away. But i have to be reminded - until I walk in that dire need of money who knows what I would do -- I hate that others face that day in and day out. How sad that this story is multiplied across the planet in so many circumstances...and we have to be there to encourage our fellow sisters and brothers, as you said: your dignity matters!
