It’s been two years and Medium can easily see I read generally the same people. Many of them read me—easily most of us should have been or should be booted out.

It’s absolutely ludicrous for them to seek a computer program to find that behavior and discourage, because the platform they sell is one to read what we want.

I genuinely want to read what I do—otherwise I wouldn’t engage. So if writers are reading and engaging authentically there is nothing to be worried about.

If they notify me that something is wrong or warn me—I’ll ask for an explanation and wait. But what Indigo did and others I find was not only helpful but genuinely fun and helped many of us grow and learn. I don’t see how that hurt us or the platform.

In fact Medium should thank them—because it helped me feel a part of a community and as a result I’ve invested in this site.
