I’m guessing/hoping baby Kimberly Christine grew up and is doing well; you’re a beautiful strong and courageous mama…I hope the word “random” in the disease name stuck with you to know you weren’t the cause.

That stuck with me: we all ask the why and we all first punish ourselves with things we could have done. It’s freeing to accept the randomness in life—as painful as those events though are.
