So yes, you’re right anything can change, nothing will stay constant on Medium.

No offense taken at all, you’re just speaking your heart and mind.

But let me share something. I am not seasoned. I started in 2022, knew no one and slowly joined many publications, I was fearful most often and I published only where there was little editing. There’s one now that heavily edits and I spend days on one piece before I even send and it still gets heavily edited.

I assure you, I’m no where near the top 30% writers of this platform. Most of those are far more experienced and with degrees and experience in writing that number in decades, many are published authors. I’m none of that. I started here on Medium.

I’m learning, I love writing. I respect how nuanced it is to each individual and how personal it can be. So I would encourage you to use the platform for your own “why” and balance it with the fact it’s a social media platform in many aspects.

Two years im here and I’ve seen the full spectrum of love and hate for medium, trusting and mistrusting….so I understand that you seek that and need before you invest time here.

Just wanted to encourage you but whatever makes you have happy is ultimately what matters.
