I understand, but your memoir -is yours David. Don't worry about others corroborating it - it's your story to tell, and by all means - for you to decide if you want it public. But I have to share with you:

There are details you describe: the time and place (the interstates, how you pumped gas, the details of how you lived) - they are of a time and place we don't hear and know about, if not for memoirs.

Just learning what it's like to take off on a destination with no name and just live - it takes such remarkable fortitude and passion.

I think our youth need to know and read stories like yours -

Heck - I need to read these stories!

And I intend to devour it!

Anyhow - just wanted to share that, for what it's worth. I'll be reading up on these...I want to read it all!!!
