I think there are many great writers who write exceptionally well and think something is wrong with their pieces or writing because they don’t see it turn “popular”…but it’s clear to me, it’s rather that many of them keep so many aspects of their lives —protected, which is perfectly fine.

So long as writers don’t take it personally, they need to read this piece of yours that shares the kind of vulnerability that it takes to receive the “eyeballs” many hope to.

I’m in many ways like you when you described how you started. At times, I’ve released parts of me with vulnerability and that’s when I’ve see greater traction.

I know where I can go and get even more—but I’m not ready—and not sure if I ever will be. But I think that’s what’s so beautiful about a writer’s journey—it really has to do with one we are taking with ourselves and deciding if and when to let it all “hang out.”

Enjoyed your piece a lot! Off to see this viral article—because omg—how can I not?!!😜😂🙌🏽🙌🏽congrats again!!
