I think so many of us are prone to addictions on our phones and with social media; thanks for sharing your journey. I've enjoyed that Medium has almost entirely taken me off all my social platforms. For now I want to write and grow, so I'm not counting it as an addiction, but now you're making me wonder if Medium is one. I hope not. I'll have to keep that at the forefront.

There is very much hope for you finding a true friend, but I feel it needs to be in person Saba, but that's just my personal opinion. You will forinstance make friends here on Medium - but you need friendships around you whom you can call and lean on and share fun times with. Friendships require time and investment...I think many people these days don't want to invest and take the time to get to know people. It's harder as we ge older but some just don't want new friends or quickly assess which kind of people they want to hang out with.

When we were youger - we often didn't know best and we friend anyone! (relatively)

Just some thoughts -- thanks for sharing -- hope you're having a great weekend!
