I think it's BRILLIANT that you first just randomly brought us into the middle of the story when you first started...and then slowly went back to the beginning - and then brought it closer to this - and then did it. I suppose in so many ways it shows how the mind struggles with finding heads and tails of the unraveling of a marriage.

No one commits to something so beautiful expecting this finale - so it makes perfect sense to me that you took your time writing this...
