I think it can.

A fetus cannot live on its own. The mother can speak for herself.
So the argument live and let live is simply rejected by those who feel compelled by a religious position of higher ethics to tell another how and what decisions they should make.

It’s mind boggling how humans feel it so easy to dictate to another how to live…unreal
