I suspect many many more feel as you do or would begin to let that voice see childlessness as a normal if given the proper opportunity to visualize and know it’s an honorable choice. In fact I’ve told my students multiple times (this semester is the first I didn’t —forgot)—don’t ever let anyone make you think you must have kids to be happy or “normal”….we too often see those who never really wanted not were/are prepared and the ramifications on society are endless. Thankfully neither means that things can’t change…but I SO loved reading your voice grew stronger and you now can laugh it off. I applaud you Benighted—

And btw—for the record—you would make one of the most loving parents because of your sheer honesty, empathy and would find how to help and provide what you knew you couldn’t.
