I second what Kate and Ilana said; you carefully and respectfully analyzed everything about yourself and yet your friend got zero seconds under the scope.

Just my .02–but it’s highly unfair to pass judgement on yourself and not place her actions under scrutiny too.

People without mental illness Can so easily be jerks, insensitive or just plain ignorant and immature.

You handled it all supremely well; if you do consider Ilana a friend, I think a reminder of what’s private to you needs to be shared with those close friends.
