I learned this watching my mother see the infighting and loss of precious and sentimental items get destroyed and lost when my grandmother passed. It was such a vivid lesson and I watched mom deal with the aftermath which took enormous toll on her as the daughter to clean up—I learned:
Either use and enjoy—or give away or sell

Constant moves only cemented the need to “let go” and minimize….

But it’s soooo easy to accumulate—it’s embedded in every ad and society signal that tells us:
You need this!
You should have this!
