I learned so much in your piece, Jay: you gave me a first hand glimpse into the times, and it was a blast. Eloquently written.

But this piece does something more for me as a mother…my heart has been broken by my sons too at times—the rebellious teenage stage is harsher on some of us. Other moms simply have no idea. It’s truly a unique time to each teen and parent.
