Where we even come together and hit a common thread that has brought us where we are:

A poorly educated electorate. I don’t say that to say I’m so educated—but educators have for the last 20 years been crying out: things are so bad and wrong! And yet “they” were to blame and over the years they lost power and given less say to educate and control their classrooms and time—…and of course once opinion and facts were equated, throwing in the mass disinformation and social media—

The nightmare arrived and we are living it.

We’re in a bad spot.
Maybe from the ashes we rise—
Maybe it had to get bad for people to wake up

And yes—I hope Democrats look within and hear what you and others are shouting out.

And I hope an alternate party is created—
The republicans are dead. It’s a maga party and a whole new animal.

So maybe it’s all falling apart so that something better is recreated.

The sad and devastating reality is that the weak, disenfranchised —the poor, suffer the most through the entire transition—

If there’s one—
Or not.


But turning my tone around—
Thanks for writing—having the dialogue—educating and getting the information out—

It’s what we need to do. We can’t give up.
Ever.

It’s worth it—liberty and equality and democracy….
