I had to go through and clap through all of the comments —I’m with all of them saying: you are beautiful! You are worthy!

I wanted to say: I wish you didn’t speak of yourself that way, I paused and realized: I’d never vocalize what I say about myself—you did. You were transparent with how many of us very privately say…
Reading it made it real…you kept repeating it—it sliced me each time.
Because it’s so so hurtful….

Ok I’m crying…but you made a reality of how we privately speak—and since it’s hushed—it’s easy to pretend that “it’s not THAT bad.”

But Janet—it sounds awful.

And you spoke so highly, so generously, so kindly of EVERY single woman you met—esch one no doubt: totally different from the other.

It just shone a light how we are so blinded by societal expectations, we brand ourselves in the most unrealistic and unkind rules.

Janet—thanks for your transparency…and on your journey I hope you’ll share with us that when you look in the mirror you’ll love who you see.

Recently on a drive I listened to a riveting dialogue. I think you’ll appreciate why…

Trevor Noah has a podcast on Spotify called What now with Trevor Noah.
May 15 episode…The Ozempic Obsession…in case you’re interested —and btw—it’s not about Ozempic why I suggest you listen —it’s about the deeper issue we are all getting at in the comment section.

Well thanks for writing. Beautiful vacation btw!!! Love that you went—congrats on your anniversary🫶🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💙💙💙
