I feel so guilty for laughing throughout this whole read; truly, I feel for you, because we women can be complex. I'll admit it.

You have to give yourself both time to figure out this new reality -- life changes us, and kids and then work keep us all busy enough to where some major ones just don't get noticed until years later, only to say, "wait, since when did you not like or like....xyz"

There must be a mix of let's do all of this - combined with - damn, why does that sound like so much work! LOL...I'm guessing - I don't know.

I've already forewarned my husband who keeps envisioning himself in retirement in his remote African village home we have -- enjoying nature and perhaps seeing after vegetables or what have you:

"Honey - just letting you know - I will drop in and stay with you maybe a week or two -- but other than that, please know, I will be where there is access to wifi and other 21st century luxuries..." LOL --

I'm planting the seeds.... ;-)

I think you'll have a grand time - and can't wait for you to tell us what a marvelous time you had!
